Palo Alto-babsed Socialtext is taking on Twitter this morning, saying it's made a new, micro-blogging feature available for its platform. According to Socialtext, its new product--Socialtext Signals--will provide a "Twitter-style" social messaging interface for its software. Socialtext is a developer of wiki software and collaboration software for enterprises. The new micro-blogging service is aimed at use within organizations, much like corporate-Twittering application Yammer. Socialtext said the new service is running on Adobe AIR.
