Palo Alto-based
Auditude, which is developing fingerprinting technology used to insert advertising into video streams, said this morning that it has raised $10.5M in funding. The new funding was led by Redpoint Ventures, and also included Greylock Partners. Auditude said that Chris Moore of Redpoint Ventures joins its board along with the funding. Auditude's products are used to recognize copyrighted video content on video sharing and other sites, and allow owners of that video to insert advertising into those video streams as a way to monetize that content.
