Facebook's Hughes Joins General Catalyst
Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes has hung his hat at General Catalyst Partners, a Massachusetts-based private equity and venture capital firm, the company said this week. According to General Catalyst, Hughes has joined the firm as an Entrepreneur in Residence. Hughes was most recently working as an organizer for President Barack Obama's presidential campaign and its social networking site My.BarackObama.com.
