Obopay Gets Investment From Nokia
Redwood City-based Obopay, which is developing payment services based on mobile phones, said today that it has scored an investment from mobile phone developer Nokia. Amount of the investment was not disclosed. Teppo Paavola, VP and head of Corporate Business Development at Nokia, joins Obopay's board as part of the funding. According to Obopay, the new investment will go to extend its product suite.
