Sausalito-based Lifefactory, a manufacturer of BPA-free baby bottles and other products, said Thursday that the company has raised $750,000 in an initial round of seed funding for the firm. According to Lifefactory, the funding was led by Greenhouse Capital Partners. The company said that the new funding will go towards sales and marketing of its products, plus further development. Peter Henig of Greenhouse Capital Partners joins the board along with the funding. Liferay is developing baby bottles which do not include bisphenol A (BPA), phthalate, and polycarbonate.
