JDSU Names Division President
Milpitas-based JDS Uniphase Corp. reported Wednesday that it has removed the interim tag from Dave Holly's title as president of JDSU's Communications Test & Measurement business unit. The Milpitas-based communications testing equipment manufacturer said Holly had served as interim president since Jan. 1. Before that, JDSU noted, he held various senior marketing, engineering, product development and sales roles within its test and measurement division. Holly has also worked for NYNEX (now part of Verizon) and IBM, JDSU said, adding that he succeeds and will report to Tom Waechter, who was promoted to president and chief executive officer earlier this year.
