Former Yahoo Music head David Goldberg is taking the helm of a Portland, Oregon-based firm, SurveyMonkey, according to the firm, after it was acquired by private equity firms Spectrum Equity Investors and Bain Capital. Goldberg--who most recently was an Entrepreneur in Residence for Benchmark Capital--will be based in Menlo Park. Goldberg was VP and Gm of Yahoo! Music and founder of Launch Media.
