Google Rolls Out Similar Images, News Enhancements
Mountain View-based Google said Monday afternoon that it has rolled out two new products, as part of its Google Labs efforts. The firm said it has added a new "similar images" search which will help users search for images that are similar to others found in a search; the new feature helps users find exactly what they are looking for without having to describe those pictures in words. Google also rolled out a new "Google News Timeline" feature which allows users to navigate through a graphical timeline for information about different topics.
