Report: Spock Acquired By Intelius
Spock, a venture backed search engine for finding information about people on the Internet, has been acquired, according to reports. Spock was venture backed by Clearstone Venture Partners and Opus Capital Ventures. Spock provided a search engine which allows users to find both information from the Internet as well as from public records. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The buy was confirmed by VentureBeat.
