Palo Alto-based ooma, a developer of hardware device for free, voice-over-IP calling, said today that the firm has signed on RadioShack as its third national retailer. According to Ooma, its products will be available through more than 3,000 of RadioShack's stores nationwide. Ooma develops a product called ooma Hub, which provides voice-over-IP and free nationwide long distance, in addition to premium offerings. Ooma is venture backed by Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Worldview Technology Partners, The Founders Fund Management LLC, WI Harper Group, the Telecommunications Development Fund, and Draper Richards LP.
