Hara Takes On Energy Efficiency With Kleiner Backing
Menlo Park-based Hara unveiled its efforts to provide energy monitoring and efficiency efforts this morning. The startup said it received previously undisclosed funding last year from Kleiner Perkins Caulfield & Byers. No details on that funding were released by the company. Hara said its Environmental and Energy Management (Hara EEM) product provides a solution for organizations to "holistically" monitor and manage natural resource consumption and environmental impact. According to regulatory filings, the firm recently raised $2.5M from Kleiner.
