HP, Intel, Yahoo Team On Cloud Computing Effort

HP, Intel, and Yahoo! announced this morning that the three firms have joined a cloud computing research effort, Open Cirrus, focused on cloud computing testing. According to the firms, they will help to bolster the efforts of Open Cirrus, which is focused on helping industry, academia, and government simulate real-life, global, Internet-scale cloud computing. Open Cirrus was launhced in July of 2008.
