SabSe Technologies, which was co-founded by HotMail co-founder Sabeer Bhatia, said Monday that it has acquired Menlo Park-based
Jaxtr, a provider of voice-over-IP services. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. According to SabSE, it will maintain and expand the Jaxtr service, alongside SabSE's own hosted PBX and and other telephony applications. Jaxtr was funded by Lehman Brothers Venture Partners, August Capital, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Draper Richards, Founders Fund, Mangrove Capital Partners, and Mayfield Fund, and had raised around $21M.
