Technology-focused investment firm Iron Capital announced this week that it has acquired EnviroTech Capital, a cleantech-centered research, investment and consulting practice. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. According to Iron Capital, the purchase of Boston-based EnviroTech will result in new investment opportunities, a dedicated team of greentech experts and an increased East Coast presence. Iron Capital noted that EnviroTech will take the Iron Capital name and will also integrate its research, investment and consulting operations with those from Iron Capital. Iron Capital is headquartered in San Francisco.
