Trimble Acquires Accutest
Sunnyvale-based Trimble continues its acquisition roll, saying Friday that it has acquired Accutest Engineering Solutions Ltd., a UK-based provider of vehicle diagnostics and telematics technology. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. According to Trimble, the acquisition will help it offer solutions for fleet management for light-duty and long-haul trucking. Accutest's products are used for on-board diagnostics and communications for trucking fleets. The firm will become part of Trimble's Mobile Solutions segment.
