Playdom Names EA's Pleasants CEO
Mountain View-based social gaming developer Playdom reported Thursday that it has hired on John Pleasants as its CEO. Pleasants joins Playdom from Electronic Arts, where he was PResident, Global Publishing and Chief Operating Officer. Pleasants has also served at Revolution Health, Ticketmaster, Evite, Match.com, and CitySearch. According to Playdom, current CEO and co-founder Dan Yue becomes Chief Product Officer.
