SolFocus Collects $30.6M
Mountain View-based SolFocus, a developer of solar concentrators, said today that it has close its Series C funding round at $77.6M. This tranche of the Series C was worth $30.6M, and comes on top of a first close of its Series C investment the firm announced in January, which was worth $47M. According to the firm, the round was led by Apex Venture Partners, and also included New Enterprise Associates, NGEN, Yellowstone Ventures, Demeter Partners, Advanced Equities, and others. The funding brings the company's total raised to more than $155M.
