Nexage, which develops mobile advertising technology, disclosed this morning that it has raised $4M in a Series A funding round, but also said it would be relocating its headquarters to Boston as part of the funding. According to Nexage, which helps mobile publishers connect to multiple ad networks, the funding came from BlackBerry Partners FUnd and GrandBanks Capital, and will be used to scale its advertising platform and strengthen its sales and marketing efforts. As part of the funding, the firm has added Mike Golden of BlackBerry Partners, Ryan Moore of GrandBanks Capital, and mobile advertising expert Mike Baker to its board.
