Sun Gets Shareholder Approval On Oracle Merger
Santa Clara-based Sun Microsystems said Thursday that the firm's shareholders have gained shareholder approval on the firm's merger with Oracle. According to Sun, shareholders of 62% of the common stock of the firm voted to adopt the agreement, where Oracle will pay $9.50 per share in cash for the company.
