Danoo Names New CEO
San Francisco-based Danoo, which delivers out-of-home content and advertising to coffee shops, cafes, and airports, said today that it has named Garry McGuire, Jr. as its CEO. McGuire also joins the board. McGuire was most recently chairman of Icon Internet Ventures. In conjunction with the move, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, which backs the firm, will appoint partner Aileen Lee as Chair of Danoo's board. The appointment comes two weeks after the acquisition of competitor IdeaCast.
