Extreme Networks Taps Nortel For CTO
Santa Clara-based Extreme Networks reported today that it has hired on former Nortel CTO Vish Nandlall as its Chief Technology Officer. Nandlall was CTO for Notel's Carrier Networks division, and was also chief architect of Nortel's CDMA and metro DWDM technologies. Nandlall is also active in networking standards bodies, including the IETF, 3GPP, 3GPP, and ATIS. Extreme is a developer of Ethernet switches and related data center equipment.
