BookFresh Gets $500K
San Mateo-based BookFresh, a startup which offers online appointment scheduling tools for small businesses, said today that it has raised $500K in seed funding from prolific angel investor Ron Conway and others. The firm has also received prior funding from NBC Universal, Baseline Ventures and Hatch Ventures. Bookfresh was previously known as HourTown. The company said the new funding will go towards business operations and innovation on its products. The funding brings the company's total raised to $1.5M.
