San Jose-based mixed signal semiconductor manufacturer IDT reported Thursday that the firm is shutting its manufacturing operations in Oregon, and will instead use TSMC for its fab work. The firm said the move will move the company from a "fab-lite" to "fabless" model. IDT said it will transfer its products, which are manufactured in Oregon, over the next two years. The products include existing products from the firm which are manufactured at 0.13 micron process technology and above.
