Microvi Biotech, a developer of water treatment technology, said today that it has raised a Series A equity financing. Amount of the funding was not disclosed, however, a recent regulatory filing from the firm places the funding at $1.0M. The funding came from a group of individual investors. Microvi Biotech is targeting its technology for use in the small and large industrial wastewater, drinking water, surface water, groundwater, and municipal wastewater areas.
