Mayfield Hires Away DFJ's Melton
Menlo Park-based venture capital fund Mayfield reported this morning that it has added Emily Melton as a Partner at the firm. According to Mayfield, Melton will focus on investing in the consumer Internet sector, working with Raj Kapoor, Navin Chadda, and Yogen Dalal. Melton was most recently at Draper Fisher Jurvetson. At DFJ, she invested in MyShape, Meebo, Redfin, Ruba, and ShareThis.
