Apache Design Solutions Buys Sequence Design
San Jose-based Apache Design Solutions reported Tuesday afternoon that it has acquired the assets, intellectual property, and foreign subsidiaries of Sequence Design, a developer of electronic design automation (EDA) software. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Apache said Sequence's operation will be integrated into its reserach and development, sales, support, and marketing functions,w ith Sequence Design President and CEO Vic Kulkarni becoming SVP and GM of its RTL Business Unit.
