VitaPath Genetics Gets $6M
Foster City-based VitaPath Genetics, which is developing molecular diagnostics for detecting Spina Bifida, said today that it has raised $6M in a Series A funding round. The round was led by MDV-Mohr Davidow Ventures, and also included funding from X/Seed Capital. Michael Goldberg of MDV and Michael Borrus of X/Seed are now on the firm's board of directors. VitaPath Genetics said it is developing molecular diagnostics to help correct genetic mutations such as Spina Bifida.
