JAJAH Links With Twitter
Mountain View-based JAJAH said today that it has created a new application which automatically calls contacts on Twitter through the micro-messaging service. According to JAJAH, the new service--which it has billed JAJAH@call--allows users to tweet the @call user to connect with other Twitter users, by sending the short tweet "@call @username" where the username is the person they want to call. The firm said the calls are limited to two minutes, and the service is in beta. JAJAH did not say if it would be allowing longer calls, or if it had additional plans for the service.
