Google Rolls Climate Change Data
Mountain View-based Google said today that it has rolled out a new set of Google Earth layers and tours, focused on providing more information about climate change. The firm said the tools pulls data from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), showing expected change in temperature and precipitation, based on different emissions scenarios. The new tools are being launched in collaboration with the Danish government.
