IGN Buys What They Play
San Francisco-based IGN Entertainment has acquired What They Play, an online web destination providing information for parents and families about videogames. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. What They Play was founded by Ira Becker and John davison, and was launched in November of 2007. IGN said the buy would broaden its demographic and provide a resource to its customer base.
