Twitter Confirms Funding Round
Twitter confirmed Friday morning that it has closed a "significant" round of funding, saying that the round came from Insight Venture Partners, T. Rowe Price, Institutional Venture Partners, Spark Capital and Benchmark Capital. Amount of the funding, and the valuation, was not disclosed, although the WSJ reported earlier this week that it was $100M, and a valuation of $1 billion.
