Zynga Tops 129M Monthly Users
San Francisco-based social games developer Zynga is trumpeting its growth over the last six months today, saying that it now has over 129 million monthly active users playing its games. The firm said the growth comes from its four top 10 games on Facebook, FarmVille, Mafia Wars, Zynga Poker, and YoVille. Zynga is backed by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, IVP, Union Square Ventures, Foundry Group, Avalon Ventures, Pilot Group, Reid Hoffman and Peter Thiel.
