Caring.com Buys Senior Housing Directory
San Mateo-based Caring.com, which operates an online site about healthcare options and senior care for aging parents, said Wednesday that it has acquired Gilbert Guide, an online senior housing guide and homecare directory, as well as a provider of information for caregivers. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Caring.com said that Gilbert Guide's team has joined the company, and will further develop and expand the guide. Jill Gilbert, CEO of Gilbert Guide, and Jason Gilbert, COO, have joined Caring.com as Vice Presidents.
