Google Expands Flu Tracking

Thursday that it has expanded its tracking of flu related inquiries to sixteen new countries, including much of Europe. The firm's service--which uses geographic tracking of queries about flu and its symptoms on the search engine to track flu outbreaks--is an attempt to help public health officials and the public understand flu trends.
