Sonoma Wire Works Buys Submersible Music
Los Altos-based Sonoma Wire Works, a developer of music recording software, said yesterday that it has acquired Submersible Music, a developer of drum software and content started by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Submersible music makes DrumCore and KitCore, which uses famous drummers and percussionists to provide guitarists and others with backing tracks. Submersible was started by Allen to help him in his own songwriting efforts.
