GroundWork Open Source Nets $5M
San Francisco-based GroundWork Open Source, a developer of commercial open source and network management software, said Tuesday that it has raised $5M in a Series D venture funding. The round was led by Canaan Partners, and also included prior investors Mayfield, JAFCO Ventures and SAP Ventures. GroundWork develops software used to manage data centers. The funding is the first round for the company since its Series C in February of 2007.
