NEA Names Viswanathan General Partner, Torti As Principal
Menlo Park-based New Enterprise Associates announced Wednesday that it has named Ravi Viswanathan, Ph.D., as a General Partner. Viswanathan has been at the company since 2004, and cover energy and information technology investments for the company, along with Indian investments. The firm also said that Frank Torti, MD, has been named a Principal. Torti focuses on healthcare, and has been at NEA since 2007. Viswanathan sits on the boards of Availink, Deeya Energy, ISGN Technologies, Jentro Technologies, Solar Junction, Suniva, and ViXS.
