Spigit Captures $10M
Pleasanton-based Spigit, a developer of social collaboration software for the enterprise, announced today that it has raised $10M in an equity funding round. The round came from private equity firm Warburg Pincus. Spigit said the new funding will go towards product development, sales, and marketing efforts. Spigit's software is used for managing projects, new product ideas, social networking, and more within large companies.
