Tilera Gets $10M
San Jose-based Tilera, a developer of multicore processors, said late Thursday evening that Quanta Computers has invested $10M in the firm. According to Tilera, the investment came after Quanta selected its 64-core processors for its cloud computing datacenter products. Tilera has previously raised funding from Bessemer Venture Partners, Columbia Capital, and Walden International.
