Yahoo's
Flickr photo site and
Getty Images are expanding their effort to find photography from Flickr users,
saying today that they have started a way for photographers to suggest their own photos for inclusion on the Flickr Collection on Getty Images. The two, who have been in a joint effort since March to market photos from the Flickr site to Getty's customers, said that members of Flickr can submit up to 10 images to a new, Getty Images Call For Artists group on the Flickr site. The two said they would regulatory review the photos in the group pool, to find images they feel are marketable.
