Google Buys AdMob
Mountain View-based Google said Monday that it is in an agreement to acquire San Mateo-based AdMob, a provider of mobile display advertising. The deal was worth $750M in stock. AdMob was founded by Omar Hamoui, and had raised around $46.80M from Accel Partners, DFJ Growth Fund, Northgate Capital, and Sequoia Capital.
