Intel Pays AMD $1.25 Billion To Settle Legal Disputes
Intel and Advanced Micro Devices said this morning that the two are in an agreement, where Intel will pay AMD $1.25 billion to settle all of the legal disputes between the firms. According to the two, AMD and Intel will cross license their patents for five years, and will give up claims of breach from their previous license agreement. The firms also said that Intel has agreed to abide by a set of business practice provisions, with AMD withdrawing all of its regulatory complaints worldwide.
