Intel Capital Invests In Seven Firms
Intel Capital, Intel's venture capital arm, has invested $25M across seven new investment, Intel announced Tuesday afternoon. According to Intel, it invested in Joyent, Active Storage, Crucialtec, Gudeng Precision Industrial Co., , Phoenix New Media, and NeuString. Joyent and Active Storage area based in the U.S.; Curcialtec is in Korea, Gudeng is in Taiwan, V-cube in Japan, Phoenix New Media in China, and NeuString in the UAE. Individual amounts of the investment were not announced.
