Asana, a startup developing software tools and headed by former Facebook employees Dustin Moskovitz and Justin Rosenstein, has raised $9M in venture funding, the firm said Tuesday. The round came from Benchmark Capital and Andreessen-Horowitz. The firm said it is developing a "new kind of software product" for collaboration. Matt Cohler joins the firm's board along with the funding, which the company said it would use to grow its team.
