gWallet Ups Funding to $12.5M
San Francisco-based gWallet said Tuesday afternoon that it has closed its first institutional funding round. The round was led by Adams Street Partners and Trinity Ventures. The firm said the funding brings the company's total raised to $12.5M. gWallet was founded by Gurbaksh Chahal, who was founder of BlueLithium and ClickAgents. gWallet said it is developing virtual currency technology for social games running on social networking sites.
