Facebook Creates Safety Advisory Board
Palo Alto-based Facebook said over the weekend that it has created a Facebook Safety Advisory Board, made up of five Internete safety organization firms. Facebook said that Common Sense Media, ConnectSafely, WiredSafety, Childnet International and The Family Online Safety Institute (FOSI) will advise the firm on issues related to online safety. The online social networking site said the new Safety Advisory Board formalizes relationships it currently maintains with those organizations.
