Google Links Groups To Apps
Google
said this morning that the firm has linked its Google Groups discussion group offering into Google Apps Premier and Education Edition, the company's corporate application offerings. According to Google, the addition of the discussion group functionality will allow companies and organizations to create their own mailing lists and discussion forums. Google said the service will allow a company's users to create and manage their own groups, once the feature is enabled by an IT administrator.
