VeriFone Buys Clear Channel's Taxi Media Business
San Jose-based VeriFone, a provider of electronic payment products, said today that it has acquired the Clear Channel Taxi Media business from Clear Channel Outdoor. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. According to VeriFone, the buy will accelerate its expansion into payment-enabled media. Taxi Medi provides advertising in taxicabs.
