Google Launches Android Phone
Mountain View-based Google said Tuesday that it has launched its own Android phone, the Nexus One. Google said its phone, which is manufactured by HTC, will cost $179.00 with a two year contract with T-Mobile, or $529 without a service plan. Google, which opened its own online store to sell the product, said the direct sales of the phone will "provide an efficient way" to connect Google's online users with Android devices.
