Trimble Buys Pondera Engineers
Sunnvyale-based Trimble announced today that it has acquired Pondera Engineers, a engineering and development company which develops software and services around designing, siting, and maintaining high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Trimble said the move is part of a strategic initiative focused on the electric utilities industry.
